Hey just looking for help with my first build.

Budget/Location: would like to be under $1200 US but I am over already. if thats what i have to spend                                 then o'well

Aim: Basic college stuff (word, excel maybe) but also some gaming such as BF4. i would like good (maybe not the topof the line but really good) graphics if im going to be spending this much money

Monitors: dont plan on moving and one for now but will go to two. the one i chose i think will do the trick 1920x1080

Peripherals: im fine with just basic keboard and mouse. but want to transfer smoothly between my tablet and this computer so windows works for me

Why: Right now i use a dell laptop as my home computer and it barley runs. it was a handmedown. I see my buddies set up and i enjoy playing games on it and the quality. I would like to have a home station not a laptop.

My parts list:   http://pcpartpicker.com/p/dX7xMp

Last notes:  I don't understand the compatibility notes/how to fix it and should i go with the i7 or i5.

Thanks any help would be nice

Don't get a CX PSU and also if you're overclocking get a 4690K instead since the 4670K gets a lot hotter and you only have an air cooler

One critique: Change the PSU to the XFX brand or if you want a large list of good PSUs refer to this list created by Aniallation:
