Audio related question about Xsplit

Hey everyone,

 

Here's a question, which I might be way overthinking, but would like your help with.

 

I decided to transition from OBS to Xsplit, but while testing with local recordings I have come up with an issue which is driving me crazy.

When recording, Xsplit will record the audio, which is what I want, but it will also live output it, so I hear it twice, which is very off putting.

 

I tried muting Xsplit through the Windows Sound Mixer, but that muted Xsplit capturing game audio all together.

 

What I am trying to say is, I want Xsplit to capture my microphone and game audio, but not "monitor" the audio.

How does one do this? It is probably very simple, but is driving me mad. Please help.
