Looking to get this setup going but I'm a little worried about my pcie lanes, 16 going straight to the GPU and 4 to the SSD. Will it have any issues as it's cutting it fine or is it simply a case of I have enough so ready to rock? Also if I plan to go sli in the future, will that whack out my storage or will I still be able to use it only at a reduced speed or will it simply cut my 16x gpu to an 8x leaving the 4x storage in tack.

Building it for gaming really but I tend to live on a 5-7 year upgrade cycle hence why I'm going all out on this. My last GTX 470 only got axed last year as it was preforming really well until BF4 came out.

It won't affect GPU performance, but SLI won't work without at least x8 for each GPU Crossfire, would work just fine.
