start menu and modern apps

So, I have noticed in my many google searches that people have experienced problems with the start menu and modern apps in Windows 10. My issue is not exactly what I am reading about however. The text of menu options on my start menu are mostly unreadable. The same thing happens with icons in modern apps. Everything else seems to be running fine. I've scanned for viruses, malware, adware... no issues, at least not any being detected. This persists after reloading windows. I am left only to assume that this is an issue with Windows 10, not any type of malware. Also, the start menu issues seem to come and go, usually it's all scrambled when I reboot, but after a while it goes away... sometimes. The apps seem to be permanently scrambled. Once I hover over an icon with my mouse it goes all janky and never recovers. I love windows 10 when it is working properly, it is preferable to windows 8.1, but if this persists I almost have not choice but to revert back. It's very annoying. Idk, hopefully their will be a fix in an update soon. Is anyone else experiencing something like this?
