BUT then i would have to buy a whole new motherboard,cpu,ram again for the next upgrade.

Same with Skylake to Cannonlake to whatever else.

Im not upgrading to skylake i am buying a whole fresh build. So why would buy an older chipset when i could just wait a couple of weeks for intel to have enough skylakes produced, and just buy that.

Saving money unless it's an absolute MUST that you need the newest i7s.
