Hello everybody, as the title says, I have a problem with Windows 8/8.1/10. After a few hours of usage I get the annoying Disk 100%, and I have turned off those 3 features which everyone's talking about. I don't think it's really a problem with my HDD. BTW I have an Asus laptop, which is an Asus K55VD-SX130D. Now, I have Windows 7, but I would like to run Windows 10 without this problem. Can you help me? Thanks in advance!

Are you downloading anything? Maybe a virus checker is set to use 100% disk speed. I dont know much but those are some options.

I would also look at your page file size, some manufacturers like to exploit that for short term performance gains (until you start filling up your HDD, at which point you get severe performance degradation).

Just hit Windows Key + R and type DXDIAG. There will be a section in the System tab called Page File, tell me what this says and the size of your HDD.
