Backlight bleed or something else?

I just purchased a Dell laptop and wasn't sure if this is called backlight bleeding or something else.
If you look at it from the side you can see that it hasn't been "sealed" where the rest of the screen is bleeding but it looks sealed.

 

From the side and in person you can see 4 bright spots were circled

I have contacted Dell to see what they say

@Richyo you know when you press pressure is put on the screen, it makes that white thingy,I believe that is whats happening there, the screen has too much pressure on i.

looks like some pretty severe backlight bleed. Have you applied pressure there to make that happen? or did it appear one day?

 

try to get it replaced, as it will be no doubt annoying while doing anything on that laptop...

Received the laptop like this. Its refurbished model and arrived via courier so something could have happened during shipping.
