Windows 10 wont install

I have been trying to get windows 10 for a few days now. Everytime I download it, makes me reboot then I get an error message that says "We couldn't complete the updates, Undoing changes. Don't turn off your computer. Also when I go into update history It is trying to download windows 8.1 updates at the same time. Anyone have any ideas of how to fix this?

 

Please note I am on Windows 8.1.

need some more info

What sort of computer are we looking at desktop laptop etc and specs if possible

How much room is there on the hdd

Have you fully updated windows 8.1 

 

Something to try for now.

Run ccleaner on the registries and try again

CPU   AMD 8350

Motherboard   Gigabyte 990 FXA-UD3

RAM  G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB

GPU  Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming

Storage   WD Blue 1TB & Samsung 850 EVO 250GB

PSU   Corsair CX Series CX750M

 

On the ssd there is 167 GB left and on the 1tb there is 621 gb

 

Dont know.
