I dont know when to use SP or AF fans and I want to use corsair ones as I love corsair stuff, so I have a 250D which can fit 140mmx2 at the front and top so at the top I have my corsair h100i and I dont know if I should put AF or SP fans on the radiator I plan to put AF ones at the front as my drive cage is moved away so their is room for the AF and at the back another AF should I keep going AF at top on the radiator or is SP better for this.

Thanks

and PLEASE NO VIDEOS, THEY CONFUSE ME MORE, all I would like is a simple "yes SP is better or radiator" or "yes AF is better on a radiator" ( feel free to add an explination as well )

I'm pretty sure Static Pressure (SP) is better on rads... (i think :P)

I use them on my rad anyway xD

AF = Airflow, best for open areas. Place them on the back or top of the case if there are no radiators.

SP = Static Pressure, best for restricted areas such as heatsinks, radiators, or covered front intakes.

if more air is moved than AF on a radiator to get more air though it would be better ? but heatsink is pretty much a rad so a SP ?

Nope, and the reason is because AF (airflow) fans have a large gap in between the blades, so that when they spin air can easily get moved through the fan at a quick rate.

SP (Static pressure) fans however have large blades wich help prevent the air that was moved through from coming back out again after bouncing off of a heatsink/radiator.

Hope that helped :)
