AMD 390 problem

The problem is that  the card isn't getting the fps it is  supposed to. For example running the hitman  benchmark at 1920x1200 I am getting 63 fps while guru3d shows fps in the 90s (using the same settings). My system  is a 2500k, 12gigs of ram, 520 watt psu. I have installed the latest drivers. Anybody know what  could be causing the slowdown or how I can start trouble shooting?

Check with software like MSI afterburner if your GPU is hitting 100% or your CPU. Please test this real quick (you'll see really quickly) and return with results please. And don't use taskmanager, it's useless.

Your i5 might be lagging a bit in some cpu intensive games

The cpu wasn't hitting 100%. The gpu had a very spikes graph which is weird. Shouldn't it hit 100% and stay there?

Cpu overclocked? There likely using a better cpu which could have an impact..

I'll check. I'm pretty sure it's not that though. It feels like it's dropping fps. I played nosgoth a bit and while it was around 45-60 (should be higher) it felt way too choppy at times
