Hey guys,
I've bought myself another GTX 970 and until it arrives i want to know if its matter which i put in the top slot the custom open cooler or the new blower style cooler ? Also drop some starter knowledge for sli^^.

I'd put the custom cooler in the lower slot, blower cards tend to do better in confined spaces than aftermarket impeller coolers.

 

As for starter knowledge for SLI, expect that not every game will support it properly and expect that the performance gains aren't linear. That's about all I can say.

Blower in the top slot for sure. A custom cooler works best when it has a lot of breathing room

I know, I'm a SLI lover myself. It just makes much more sense to get the single strongest card now. It makes more sense than it did two years ago, and it will make even more sense in the near future, the way things are going.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.
