The G75VW? As for specs, the i7-3630QM is plenty strong, and the 660M is very capable. It's midrange, even by laptop standards, but it will be plenty strong for light games maxed out, and demanding games on medium/high.. The 5400 RPM drive has plenty of storage space, but you might want to look into getting an SSD for use as the primary drive if you want better speed.

One thing to keep in mind is that Asus G-series laptops do not use Nvidia Optimus technology. Because of this, you'll be running the power-hungry dedicated GPU 24/7, so your battery life probably won't be amazing. As long as you don't absolutely need to use it away from a power plug for too long, it will be fine..

For the price, I don't think you're going to get much better than that..

i7 not perfectly stable at 4.4.. #firstworldproblems

Depends on the laptop. My G46, unfortunately, has Optimus.

The G46 has Optimus? I thought I read somewhere that none of the G-series laptops had it.. (is it just none of the <15" models have it, and the 14" models do?)

My experience has been that as long as your drivers are kept up to date, it works well enough. It's gotten a lot better over time, so if you use the latest Nvidia drivers you should be running better than if you're running an old driver from Asus.

My laptop has a switch to disable/enable it whenever I want, so i don't have to worry about it, lol..
