PC Build Opinions

So I'm in the middle of building my PC and decided to get some opinions on my parts. Also some suggestions for parts would be great. For example, I have a GTX 960 SSC on my list but should I spend a few extra bucks on the 970 instead. I have my case, mobo, PSU and cd drive. My build theme is white, soooo obviously that is a big influence on some of my choices. I'm mainly going to be playing games like LoL, CS: GO and Minecraft. I'll also be streaming to twitch. I eventually want to get into other PC games like BF. Well here is the link to my list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/wyb9zy

Yes, You should absolutely spend the extra for the 970. I recommend shelling out the money for an 850 EVO SSD to use as your boot drive.

Everything else checks out.

1) Yes, a 970 is definitely worth the extra cash in regards to its performance

2) A 860w platinum PSU isnt worth the money, and the money saved from that can be used towards the 970 mentioned above.

I suggest maybe this: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-power-supply-rs650amaag1 , or if fully-modular is what your after, then maybe: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cp9020072

I already bought the PSU. Got it pre-owned and on sale for Newegg for about $80 I think. Seen the price and really couldn't pass it up. I know 86o is really overkill for my build. The 750 you linked is nice though. Might get it for my fiancees build.

do you plan on playing any games at 1440p or 1080p? if you only plan to play at 1080p you could probably get cheaper monitor. also I would probably swap that i7 for an i5 like the 4690k and just OC it and definitely get a 970. if you saved in other areas, you could probably extend a bit further and get a 980

Oh dayum thats a nice price considering it is pre-owned. Anyways, it gives you more options to eventually add another 970 if you feel like it.
