  • Get the one the will soothe you color Scheme
  • Or whichever is cheaper
  • or whichever has the PCI or IO connectors that soothes you best

Cause both are awesome manufacturers. Personally I'd go with Asus cause I'm a fanboy but I heard Gigabyte is really durable. :P

Why H87 chipset? You can get z87-k or z87-c frm asus and there are only 20$ difference.

I don't think he plans to OC. :)

Personally I would go for the gigabyte I have had many issues with asrock and am not a fan of the gold on the asus although it is all personal preference.

Try looking at some msi boards as well perhaps:

So I spelt something wrong in my post... I don't care I don't read through what I write and I type very quickly.

Intel 3770k stock, MSI Z77A-GD65, MSI GTX 760, Corsair Vengence DDR3 1600Mhz 16Gb, Corsair RM 550W, Samsung 830 256Gb, some random hdds.

The motherboard doesn't really affect performance.

Just get the cheapest B85 or H87 motherboard you can find--whichever is cheaper.
