Difference in Companies GPU Gigabyte GTX 970 vs Others

bmxanrchy127

I am looking at this Gigabyte GTX 970 as i like the Gigabyte because of the many Display Ports allow me to easily hookup my at least 3 monitors with standard display port to hdmi cable rather then dealing with dvi to hdmi adapters and what not. With the Gigabyte I have read and heard that the windforce needs special waterblocks to watercool, and i plan to watercool in future so planning on getting the regular g1 gaming version. But what is the difference (other than more display ports) vs gigabyte and the other companys like asus, nvida and what not. They all seem to have the same clock speed and vram so are certain ones actually better than the other? Been into the pc world (gaming building) since march of 2015 so there are still things im learning and this is one of them. Thanks in advance

I had mega failure after mega failure with AMD ASUS boards but i'm going ASUS for my Skylake rig... what i mean to say is.. it's all a load of BS that certain brands are more reliable...

Also, go with what your wallet and mind feel is epic.

You have enough watts for any single GPU out there.
