I have a DEAD 480w psu and the only psu I have now is 300w.

 

Its a 

Pentium 4

Gigabyte agp 8x

ATI 9200e

Dvd drive

hdd

 

Thats it.

Thats it. 

300w should be fine, the P4 eats power but not 300w, and the 9200e doesn't use much power.

yea. and when I took it apart there was a jumper cable on the mobo. of course no pictures were taken and now I need it to work and I get post then when I hit the reset button it wont run on again.

300W is enough, my system tops out at 350W.

Thats it. 

250W is probably enough so I would get something from Seasonic of the low wattage variety for this as well as the low-end Antec BP500U that is pretty decent.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Ok let me explain. Its not my system. Its an old one from work that I stole the case for my nas build. They need it back and I think it was broken when i got it and now trying to fix it. Not spending anything
