WIN 8.1 to WIN 10 ERROR?

I need to enter the WIN 8.1 product key, or purchase a WIN 10 key if I use media creation tool?

No it checks that you have a activated copy of win 8 and then it just downloads 10 and installs it.

run it again, eventually it will show up
