CPU thermal throttling

hello pc enthusiast community,

 

    i recently just rma my cpu and they gave me a new cpu and it seems to be getting too hot. what is a good software i can monitor my amd cpu temperatures. thanks i will pick a best answer.

HWmonitor is pretty good another is Adia 64 where it can show a percentage of thermal throttling occurring during stress testing.

Are you using a stock cooler or aftermarket cooler?

What kind of thermal paste are you using?

If you're using the one that came with your cooler, I'd suggest getting a tube of Arctic MX-4.
