Cheap Keyboard Mods?

Hello,

 

I know this sounds stupid and not worth it but!

I really like building things myself anyone can buy some something off the shelf 

 

 

I saw a guy make a steampunk mod. 

 

 

I have this cheap (rubber dome keys of course) Dell Keyboard it feels really nice to type on

i was thinking about modding it with MX key switches or something like that does anyone else have suggestions?

not just key mods any mods at all

Modding it with Cherry MX switches is not an option unless you can design a PCB specifically for this keyboard. IMO you should get a new keyboard. Any other mods would just be painting, that's probably about it.
