Recovery and Reset questions

markblank05

Hi, I have an acer laptop with windows 8.1 and I want to upgrade it to windows 10 and refresh it to clean all my old stuff. Here is my concerns.

1. Will windows 10 refresh delete the files on windows 8.1 partition? Because it said clean all drives.

2. Can I still used the default alt-f10 to enter the recovery partition?

1. It will keep them if you select keep files and stuff from the installation menu.
