First post, so please don't scrutinize me, if something is wrong just let me know and I'll fix it.

Hoping for a long awaited upgrade since my first build in 2011. My i3 2100 is still kicking but my 6850 needs some love to manage through triple-A games now. Looking to really push x99 as I enjoy video editing and using Photoshop daily for both school and personal use. Planning on the 980 to enjoy 1080p gaming without all the hassle I have with my current setup; I'm looking forward to a 144Hz 1440p monitor in the future as well. (I already have an SSD and hard drive from my current build)

I would get a better PSU but other than that it's good.
