  1. Yeah, I agree. I'm just not very good at picking out PSUs any suggestions would be great.
  2. First post, so please don't scrutinize me, if something is wrong just let me know and I'll fix it. Hoping for a long awaited upgrade since my first build in 2011. My i3 2100 is still kicking but my 6850 needs some love to manage through triple-A games now. Looking to really push x99 as I enjoy video editing and using Photoshop daily for both school and personal use. Planning on the 980 to enjoy 1080p gaming without all the hassle I have with my current setup; I'm looking forward to a 144Hz 1440p monitor in the future as well. (I already have an SSD and hard drive from my current build) PCPartPicker part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/YGrChM Price breakdown by merchant: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/YGrChM/by_merchant/ CPU: Intel Core i7-5820K 3.3GHz 6-Core Processor ($378.00 @ NCIX US) CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($103.99 @ Amazon) Motherboard: MSI X99A SLI PLUS ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard ($229.99 @ Amazon) Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ($109.99 @ Amazon) Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 4GB Superclocked ACX 2.0 Video Card ($499.99 @ Amazon) Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro ATX Full Tower Case ($99.99 @ Amazon) Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($84.00 @ NCIX US) Total: $1505.95 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2015-08-16 17:47 EDT-0400 Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated!
