GTA 5 mods. Help

Go to solution Solved by LiamApex,

Hey do you time to help me via skype now?

no sorry ime out on Some free wifi.

The mods you are using are all up to date and scripthook is aswell yes ?

i used this when i did

Hey, i have been sooo exited and i have waited patiently for gta 5 to install and now its installed. I started the game finished 47% of the carrer and i wanted to install some mods on my pc. I opened up some videos and they wore saying to put the files into the roots of the gta 5 folder.

Mind you i havent bought the game at steam. I bought it at a webstore. Download.

I put the files in and hope for the best. Everything loads up fine and i see none of my mods are working. I read some more and found a program called openiv and that didnt work too. So i really want to play the game with mods. (the soul purpose of buying it)

Please help!

You need to install the correct version of ScriptHookV and dinput8 / dsound. These three files are .dll, and they allow .asi files to be read and incorporated into the game. Do some searching around to find these files as I do not know where they are kept up to date.

To install those files, all you have to do is drag and drop them into your GTA folder.

Then that leaves you to find .asi mod files that you want to install. To install them all you have to do is drag and drop into the GTA folder as well. Most .asi mod files can be a couple versions behind, however keeping them up to date is ideal.

Best of luck to you sir.

Hey bro! Thanks for your help, but i found a mod called the vehicle controll mod and it has a asi file and a folder! So should i put the folder in also or should i open the fimder and put the files in?

Also scripthookv has a folder with dll files should i put the folder into gta 5 or tshould i put the dll files in?

Thanks for all your help guys!

Put ScriptHookV and dinput8 into your main GTA folder (where the game . exe is). NativeTrainer is a mod menu itself -- you can install it by putting it in the main folder as well, but if you're not interested then just discard that.

Can you send me a link to where you downloaded your vehicle control mod? I would like to inspect the folder.

hey, thanks for the video i noticed that i put my whole bin file from scripthookv into the roots!

for the vehicle mod, paste VehicleController.dll and VehicleController folder into the folder named scripts in your gtav folder.  I'm literally quoting the readme file

there's menues that are free with scripthooks that come with gta online mods and car mods ect ect all in one menue.
