Hi

My computer is all out of storage (124Gb of 126Gb used) so i bought a new WD black 1Tb

How should i transfer the files from the old drive to the new one, without having to re-link everything?

(I dont know if that's the case, but i assume switching hdd's would make the system "loose control" about where the files are)

PLX Help

P.S. if you think 126 GB is a weird storage capacity, it's because of an error with the hard-drive

It doesn't matter what you do, you will screw it up anyways.

Plug in the drive, the drive will show up in your filesystem (or device manager if it doesn't), create a volume with it, then drag and drop your files. Easy.

But wont the system think the applications and stuff still is stored on the old drive?
