Need advice on new headset

Hey guys

I'm in need of a new headset, as my current (Logitech g930) is getting old and the sound quality is falling.

I don't really know a lot about headsets and audio and would like your help. The most important thing is the sound quality, but it being wireless will be a plus.

I live in Denmark and am able to use about 2000 DKK or in USD about 300.

So just come with some suggestions i'm open. If it is a headset without mic i would like some tips on a mic, does not need to be something special.

Holy shit they look cool :D

Those look godly, If I ever get the cash (Probs not) I'll pick em up, I can vouch they're RMA policy is amazing. pretty much no questions asked return policy (Similar to EVGA) the only downside is that they're HQ is in Cali, Any accident has been because of me, they can take quite the beating and still work not gonna lie. I've dropped these things down the stairs on  purpose and they still work perfectly.

The Prismatics look awesome. Did you order them off the official website? It doesn't look like they ship to Canada, but I'm slightly apprehensive about ordering from Amazon (because I'm not sure how returns would work or if the product is even official). Also, how's the mic quality? Thanks!

Mic quality made my voice sound extremely deep

like I'm 14 went into a Teamspeak, people thought I was 18-21, I got mine at Gamestop perhaps check EB see if they have it?

@OP... why? Why on earth would you spend that much on a headset??? The audio quality is going to be crap, and there is no reason to buy a headset at that price point...

Immersive, basically surround sound if you don't have it already

roccat kave 5.1 digital...

http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/331886-71-headphones/ Please read this before you guys go and suggest surround sound headphones again...

I wouldn't spend too much on audio, but the HyperX Cloud is pretty good. If you really want to spend that much, I'd get the Audio-Technica ATH-ADG1

As stated above, headsets at that price point are pointless.

Holy shit they look cool :D

Those look godly,

*They look like garbage, and aren't even worth $20 in terms of sound quality.

This explains why you're such a fan of those headsets. Also, the whole "people thought I was 18-21" thing... That's a very common effect that occurs when you place a mic close to your face (radio personalities, anyone?).

@OP, if you're going to spend that much on a pair of cans, get headphones, not a headset, and just pair them with a modmic or vmoda boom pro. That leaves you with plenty of budget left over, and you won't make yourself look like a child.

If you can stretch your budget a bit (or your area has them for cheaper) the Philips Fidelio X2 is about the best headphone in that price range.

Those headphones on pdp looks like cheap toys... Op if you're going to spend $300 I'd rather you go for Fidelio x2, dt990, or he400/400s.

Thank you.

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)
