I already have 8gb of ddr3, OS and Power Supply (600 watt) just need the rest. Under $200 if possible on amazon.

just need it for 1080p streaming and basic windows applications like word.

What kind of PSU is it?

Brand and model would be nice, if its from dell throw it away, You'll want a new one.

200 dollars can get you a decent CPU and motherboard.

Unless you want a Pentium and cheap Z97 board

200 dollars wont get you a decent CPU and motherboard, you could proably only get a graphics card that could run 720p and maybe 1080 for $200

For $200? You could get a GPU that can max out titles at 1080p w/ 60FPS! What are you smoking?

I know, but he was saying a $200 GPU would only play decent at 720P, which is entirely wrong.

Not necessarily.

I don't get what your trying to say here. That card can do 4K with 30FPS avg. What's your point? I was correcting him in saying that a $200 card would be great at 1080p.

Oops.  I thought you meant that it would only be good at 720p.
