so i just bought a 280 radiator, i see some people heat up and pour distilled water into it and shake it for a few minutes, then pour it out and you will see dirt and all that stuff. I have blue coolant at the moment, if i clean my radiator with distilled water, will the distilled water do anything to the coolant? if not, can i just clean my radiator with normal water? (I'm scared that dirt will stuck in my water blocks....)  please help, i'm a beginner........  :)

Will it do anything to the coolant? No, you will be fine, would rather use distilled water than regular water since its just better.

You can use regular hot tap water and rinse the rads, afterwards give it a good rinse through with distilled water it helps to remove anything that tap water left say minerals or other things in the tap water.
