the onboard will still work

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

My Brothers CPU (Intel E8500) does not have integrated graphics, but the Motherboard (Intel DG45ID) graphics still work, why? And when I switch him over to the Q9650 will the boards graohics still work?
