drivers dont change your card, temps wont change unless the gpu is less utilized.

 

and drivers dont need a clean install every time.

 When updating drivers, be it AMD or Nvidia, is it better to uninstall the old one or just overlap? Talking about the same card, not swapping cards. Also, can drivers cause increases and decreases in temperatures?

To be honest I actually just overlap the drivers on my 280x. I've only ever used DDU twice.
