A now paranoid first time PC builder.

Put the system together without any problem, posted with no problem, went into set up, could see fans working, drives, ram, optical, temps were fine, changed nothing other than boot priority, saved and exited. Restarted PC and the red led boot device was illuminated and had super IO code 99.  Called tech support and after running numerous test, told I had a bad board. Replaced board same procedure same problem! I cannot believe that I had two bad boards in a row, have to believe I did something wrong.

The setup seemed fairly straight forward and reflected numerous videos I watched prior to starting the project. Could see all the fans, cpu speed, temps, drives installed etc. all I changed was the boot priority then saved and exited.  I did expect the first post screen to have more info like the old bios however.  What should it have shown?  videos tend to skip post screen and go directly to setup?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
