Power Supply Problems: HELP

Go to solution Solved by Leonard,

All i have to say is sometimes those molex and sata adapters work and then sometimes they don't. Use at you own risk.

Hey everyone so yesterday I went out to microcenter and was shopping for some deals, and I ended up picking up a Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD and a GTX 960 for this build I'm working on. The card requires two 6-pin connectors to work however I only have one available in my case. It came with two Molex to 6-pin adapters but I also don't have any molex connectors in my case. I DO however have a lot of extra SATA connectors in my case. I googled if there was a connector made to convert SATA to 6-pin and there are two kinds. The first kind only takes 1 SATA and turns it into a 6-pin, the second kind takes two SATAs to convert into a 6-pin. Which one should I buy, granted this kind of this even works, and how do I install it so I don't do something wrong?

How come you don't have any Molex connectors spare? Also, write in the normal size font :P
