1,500-2,000 USD
 

2. Aim
Gaming and productivity. System is for use in college writing papers and doing research. I also want to be able to play games like gta v and minecraft. 

3. Monitors
One monitor and no plans to expand.

4. Peripherals
Mouse and keyboard are in the part picker link. click on mouse to go to amazon for the actual model. mouse is not 50 but part picker did not have the exact model.
 

5. Why are you upgrading?
New build not upgrading.

I would say if you evened it out you could get a 980 ti/ better than a 970 in there
