Shutdown/ Restart Problem

I recently installed windows 10 on my gaming rig.... All perfect besides turning my computer off. When I press shut down or restart, it always goes to processes still open, 2 in particular (sleep - programs is not allowing for shutting down) (and a net.framework blah blah blah), but whatever I press ( cancel or force shutdown) it goes into shutting down with dots circling around but never turns off. Pls help

Operating System (Windows 10 Pro 64-bit)

MOTHERBOARD (MSI Z87M GAMING)

CPU (Intel Core i5 4460 @ 3.20GHz)

RAM (G.Skill 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 )

Motherboard (MSI Z87M GAMING)

Graphics (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 EVGA)

Storage (WD Caviar BLUE 1TB HDD)

PSU (Rosewill ARC 550M)

Have you tried ending those processors via task manager before attempting a shut down?
