What should I do with my old stock cooler?

I just replaced my stock CPU cooler with a water cooler. What should I do with my stock cooler, throw it away? Can I sell it?

Keep the heat-sink; use the fan on the case.

Keep it as a back up in case the pump dies, or throw it in the stock cooler box.
