Origin Email Change

Hey there, recently I redownloaded origin so I can play BF4, however I stumbled across the strange problem that I actually couldn't get my password to work, so after a painstaking process of retrieving old emails I finally did it and now I HAVE ACCESS. HOWEVER, I now want to update the email to my new one so its easy to reset, but whenever I enter my email into the "Edit Basic Information" page in the origin client it says the email is invalid, this is a gmail account email and was wondering if anyone has a fix?

 

 

Nevermind I was an idiot and forgot about my friends account that is setup on my email.
