No audio while recording

After upgrading to windows 10, none of my software could record audio. I am trying to record some demo that I have on counter strike go, but no matter what I use some can record the screen at least some cannot at all. I tried fraps, dxtory, Screen Record(some bogus freeware that I got googling for a while), Window's own recording dvr. none of them can record sound. what can i do?

Make sure that your microphone is detected in Sound Settings > Recording Devices?

I think they might be talking about in-game sound.
