Hey i am using a a corsair obsidian 900D, and i need alot of fans, but i also want to use a exsternal fan controller, so i buyed a adapter for fans, but the adapter doesnt fit with exstarnal fan controller, please help.

Fan splitter is: ekwb ek-cable splitter 4-fan pwm extend

Exsternal fan controller is: NZXT SENTRY LXE External Fan Control

you need a 4pin pwm female  to a 3pin male

Welcome to the Forums!

 

Note how much power your drawing from a single channel to not overload the controller but you need 3 pin splitters since it's a 3pin fan controller. The splitter cable you have is fore direct 12V power and control via PWM.

You need to get a 3-pin splitter instead of a 4-pin pwm one.
