I don't think you can get much of a custom loop for the price of a 970. So get a 970.

You'd be better off with the 970. Your 4670k is still good but the 760 is meh.

Going off your build details on your profile, Probably the 970, but also seems your CPU is OC'd as long as your current cooling is good enough then go with the new GPU.

Nope. Better cooling won't do a lot for performance, a better GPU will. GTX 970.

Even jay from Jayztwocents says never sacrifice performance just to afford a custom loop.

The custom loop I plan on doing will cost around $900-1000. If I were you, I'd buy the 970 then save up for a custom loop down the road.

gtx 970 would be the wiser decision.  It would give you a  better gaming experience than a custom loop would.
