PCIE wireless adapter

Go to solution Solved by AustinJ,

I see that this comes with bluetooth connectivity as well. Do I need to connect the bluetooth cable for the adapter to work or i can just leave it be? And does the cable connect to the USB 2.0 pins on the motherboard?

The bluetooth part by connecting to a usb header on your motherboard. The wireless card will function without it.

Recently I have moved to my new apartment and I am currently using my friend's wifi next door. I bought a TP-Link PCIE N600 wireless adapter to go with my PC but the signal strength is just so poor. Is there anyway to improve it without having to move the PC or the router? Also, when I am using my laptop with a Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6320 the signal strength and the speed is just way much better. Is it an issue of the receivers or is there a proper way of aligning the adapter's antennas?
