Does the XFX R9 Fury X or the Asus m279q bring a dp 1.2a with them?

I have just ordered a XFX R9 Fury X and an Asus m279q display to go with it.

 

I've currently own no display port cable and I think i need one to use freesync and/or 1440p 144hz right??

 

 

If so my question is: Does either the card or the display bring one??

 

It would be pretty bad if all arrived and then I would have no cable to take advantage of it.

The MG279Q comes with the cable you need.

The monitor should come with a DP cable. They tend to be pretty short from my experience though. The one I got with my monitor was only about 0.5m long.

Thank you both, i surely hope so! It wouldn't make much sense other wise being a freesync monitor.

 

Still I couldn't be sure looking for it on the internet and on the order.
