You may want to do a 2x8gb ram kit. If you want to add more, just add another 2x8 versus buying all new ram

1st go with a 5820k and x99 mobo

second stick with 16gb of ram but get a better brand. 

third where is your cpu cooler?

fourth you could save money going with a define r5 instead.

 

fifth do you really understand what you are doing getting 980 Tis in SLI and 28" 4k display?

 

I've used 40" 4k display and 27" 1440p display and I honestly would not bother with 4k at anything under 40". The sharpness isn't really worth it at the smaller screen sizes. For pure gaming an Acer Predator 27" 1440p monitor would give a bette experience than a low-end 4k display because of the lower input lag and higher response time. if you do want to go 4k then look into the crossover 434k.

 

You are better off with a Titan X or 1 980 Ti and a good monitor over 2 980 Tis and a mediocre display. (you would also avoid any SLI issues that way too).
