Audio not working in csgo

So i recently purchased a Hyper X Cloud 2 Headset. Im using the usb sound card or whatever to connect it to a usb 3.0 port. It works fine with skype. However it isnt working with youtube and csgo. Please help.

Have you selected the audio device you want to use in steam?

Make it your default sound device.

Right click on your volume control in your task bar, click playback devices, click on Headset Earphone (HyperX 7.1 audio device), and then click Set Default.

(Also make sure you re launch cs after doing that)
