Isn't it dangerous?

From what I read they do their temperature testing using around 30-40 minutes of Furmark but isn't that bad? I mean, I thought the general consensus was that
Valley and Heaven = Okay
Furmark = Heresy.

from what i know, they're made to stay at 95 degrees at load and change their frequency to still keep that temperature(overclok and underclock)

I've just heard so many horror stories of people burning their cards/vrms and so on and thus spent a good amount of time worrying i bricked something (stressed for about 50 mins) but then I read this which confused me.

All stress testers can be bad for your hardware when used in wrong way. Furmark has bad default settings and shouldn't be used because of that. And its burn mode definitely not. But other testing tools which to outside look pretty much same, like OCCTs GPU test and Kombustor, are fine to use.
