Hey guys I'm getting ready to do my first build. I was gathering all my parts together and realized I forgot to get the stupid thermal paste. Now, the only physical place around here that sells it is best buy, but they use insignia brand thermal paste I think it was. I've heard artic silver is usually what everybody uses, but I'd much rather have it now instead of waiting for it to ship or pay $15 for one day shipping. Is there any real difference between the two? I put the link to the product page on best buy's website.

But shouldn't I still use thermal paste?

No the stock past is fine. If you plan on taking the cooler off in the future then fine get a small tube but otherwise don't worry about it.

There is no reason to rush order past or buy super fancy thermal compound unless you're trying to get everything you can out of your PC and that won't happen with a stock cooler. Your better off spending the extra money on a hyper212.
