RAID 10 Configuration Question

So I'm buying 24 4TB Western Digital SAS Re drives. It all goes into a 24 bay SuperMicro Chassis. Runs off a SuperMicro SAS 2 Backplane hooked to a LSI MegaRAID 9261CV-8i RAID card.

 

I'm debating on the RAID 10 configuration. I know I want at least 2 hot spares. I will have a separate smaller array outside the server for critical stuff like finances, family photos, etc.

 

So I'm thinking:

Two spans of 11 drives with two hot spares.

Three spans of 7 drives with three hot spares.

 

Or is there some other layout you recommend?
