Hi,

My current system is getting a bit slow and I waited for skylake to buy a new one.

Now I have:

i5 750 @ 3500

Asrock P55 Deluxe3

HD 6950 2GB

8GB DDR3 1333MHz

CM 690II

2 * 1TB HDD

1 * Crucial BX100 250GB

Coolermaster Silent pro gold

Asus Xonar DGX

The computer will be used for gaming and I also want it to look good with black and white colors. After doing some research I found this setup:

I will reuse my PSU, HDD's and SSD and the Xonar DGX if the onboard audio isn't good enough.

i5 6600K ~ 274€

I'll be using it for gaming and I don't think I have any use of an i7, will be overclocking this one.

Asus Z170-A ~ 169.95€

Looks like a solid motherboard, really love the look and I like asus as a brand

Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2A2133C13 ~ 134.95€

2 sticks of 8GB RAM, this is the cheapest black ram I found in the store I want to order, I need 16GB because my 8GB isn't enough atm (minecraft mods and chrome takes a lot!)

Sapphire R9 390 Nitro ~ 374.95 €

After some research the 390 looks like a better card then the 970 and I have slight preference for AMD because I had some problems with Nvidia before, but not enough preference to not buy the best bang for buck. Sapphire is a good brand for AMD and like the look. I'll be gaming on 2 1080p monitors with number 3 coming in the near future.

NZXT s340 ~ 74.9€

Nice looking case, not to expensive. Will be putting 2 extra 140mm fans in the front

NZXT Kraken x31 ~ 84.95€

Costs about 35€ more then a good air cooler and like the look of this more. This isn't really a smart buy but I think but it looks good. Are there any better 120mm cpu aio coolers? This will be mounted in the back spot.

I also want to use a 24 pin and two 8 pin extension cords for my psu cables because they are white sleeved, this costs 26.85€ for the three.

Total: 1188.34€

The max amount I would like to spend is 1200€.

Any remarks on this setup or does it look good as it is?

The shop I want to order at is: www.4launch.nl

This shop doesn't have all the z170 motherboards but it's one of the cheaper ones and I can go pick up the stuff myself because it isn't to far.

Best regards!
Stelio

I would suggest a quality air cooler (Phanteks, Noctua or Be Quiet!)... I've also included 120m aoi setups in my proposed build and people on here and other places have said unless you go for a 240mm rad than the benefits are minimal compared to the cost.  It will save you some money.

I would wait a month to be honest, see if more MOBO's roll out and we actually get some reviews on them..... as of now all I've seen are pretty much spec sheets in paragraph form, which if that is enough for you then I guess go ahead, but I would wait as your paying a premium currently for the latest/greatest.  Other than that looks a o.k.
