Hi so I am shopping for a new psu and I was thinking about the corsair axi series or the corsair hxi series. And  I was wondering why there is almost 100$ in price difference so wich is better???

its due to higher quality capacitors and components aswell as to better 80plus ratings and constant sustained workloads

HXi is more meant for workstation and AXi is meant for PC Enthusiasts. There aren't majour differences except price, avalieble wattages and 80plus rating on some models. (most are the same.) Whichever you buy you'd be happy to make the decision. They're both great power supplies and you can't go wrong with either of them.

Get EVGA supernova G2 PSU, they should be cheaper and just as good if not better.

Agreed! Corsair PSUs are overpriced and generally not the best compared to some other PSUs
