Spotify on android disconnecting

For some reason my Spotifysaid I didn't have a connection when I was connected to my WiFi. I just turned on mobile data, started a song, paused it, turned WiFi back on and it worked. After the couple last updates I don't have any problems (Nexus 5)

Hey guys, Spotify on my Android phone (LG Lucid 3, Yeah I know not the best lol ) keeps disconnecting after about a minute and I have to manually turn my WiFi off and back on for spotify to go "Online" if I am on my data connection then I don't have these issues but I have tried on 3 diff WiFi networks and it does the same thing on all of them.. The attached pic clearly says I am connected but yet Spotify still says I am offline....

Yep, that was the first thing I did when I started having the prob then I restored it to factory thinking something was messing it up and it still did it..

Wifi settings > "menu key or that 3 dot thingy click to that" >  Advanced > Keep wifi on During Sleep > Always
