SO I just made a thread about gaming mice. While this one was not brought up I did find this review of what look to be some super cool mouse. Does anybody know about this mouse or actually own it. Please give pros and cons.

Thx

First mouse I ever pre ordered. Coming from the xtd I wanted a mouse that had about the same size, shape but with more buttons. Tyon was everything I needed. It's a hall of fame mouse in my eyes. Only thing keeping it from being perfect is that you cant adjust the weight. I personally found it just a bit on the light side but you get over it after a few days of use. Only mouse that gave the Tyon a run for its money was the logitech Proteus core but that mouse was on the narrow side for my hands.

I am a mouse whore and I love buying and trying mice but this one is a keeper. Shooter, mmo, productivity...its a mouse for just about anyone. I have used Palm, tip and hybrid grips with this mouse and all work well. I stick to hybrid personally.

How is Tracking with laser. I have a wood desk and I am very worried about the tracking. Also how is the software and how long is the cable. Also as a customer, what other info should I know.

U say u are a mouse whore, are there better mouses you would recommend or like more. Please goto this thread for more info https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/425570-gaming-mouse/

It's the same software that the xtd had...super easy to use, very intuitive. I have used some shitty mouse pads and gaming mouse pads with this mouse and others. I can say that it does not matter what pad I use, the laser eats everything up and works perfectly. It's Roccat, they are top notch when it comes to mice.

I really dont think you should be warned about anything, it's very straight forward. Roccat makes great mice and solid software. I have never had an issue with any roccat product so I cant say anything about customer service.

Not a mouse that is readily available that I would pick over the Tyon. Between the software and mouse itself it's a great mouse for any type of game or usage. it's very comfortible, easy to clean well positioned buttons.

I think the laser on the Proteus core was also very very good, I would say just based on feel they are both equally good. Logitech software is also very good and easy to use. It's the other features and just feel of the tyon that puts it over the top. I owned both mice at the same time for about a week and switched many times just to check, double check and tripple check which one I thought was better for me. I had large hands so that was something else to take into consideration.
