I had two GPU's recently die unexpectedly, had no idea why and I just logged it to bad cards.  But today when I was pulling one of the power cables out because I was going down to one card I found it extremely hard to take out and when I finally got it out I discovered three leads had melted to the inside of the connection.  I assume this is very bad, do I have a dead PSU or did I just pull to much power from that connector.  The PSU is a cosair AX860 pruchased two years ago and the card that was attached was a accelero cooler attached to a Asus GTX 780.    Pictures attached below.
